Good Morning!
Vista -- Should I make the leap? My two cents worth
I'm sure by now you've heard about Microsoft's new version of Windows called Windows Vista. It's been years in the making and was just "officially" released last week. They are even running commercials for it at movie theaters -- you know -- that half hour of commercials they force you to watch before they even run the previews. Microsoft wants you to think that Vista is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Well, maybe it is, but all my guru friends have always warned me about being one of the first to jump on any new computer software bandwagon. No matter how long they've been testing this program, it's going to have bugs. Bugs can drive you batty! One computer sales guy told me the other day he would wait a year before installing Vista on his computer. Besides potential software problems, there are a couple of other reasons to wait. I'm going out on a limb here and suggesting that you do not upgrade to Vista if your current computer is more than a year old. Wait until you're ready to replace your current computer and then think about Vista. Give Microsoft time to work out the bugs.
