Do you use the printer button on your toolbar to print what's on your screen? It looks like a miniature printer. Maybe you've never noticed it. All programs have a print button somewhere on the toolbar. When you click the button your document goes immediately to the printer. Fast and easy.

However, if you want to be able to choose options for your document (number of copies, which pages to print, etc.) you will want to click File on your menu bar and then click Print. This opens the Print dialog box which gives you many choices.

Instructions (with diagrams) on using the Print dialog box are found on page 72 of my book, Taming Your Computer--The Simple Basics. Click here if you don't have a copy.

About Me

My photo
I love teaching senior citizens to use computers. I'm a senior myself, so I'm working with my peers. When I work with you in your home on your computer, I don't sit in front of your computer and TELL you want to do. You sit in front of your computer while I TEACH you what to do. I also write step-by-step instructions for you to follow when I'm not there.
