AOL FRAUD ALERT

$Account.OrganizationName
Dear Barb,
AOL FRAUD ALERT
Don't fall for this fraudulent e-mail

This morning I received an e-mail message claiming to be from AOL telling me that I needed to update my AOL billing information within 24 hours or my AOL account would be shut down. I was immediately suspicious and called AOL. They confirmed that it is a hoax and an attempt to capture your personal information to be used fraudulently.

If you or a friend uses AOL, please be aware of this situation. The AOL tech support person instructed me to forward the e-mail to AOL at this address:
TOSreport@aol.com
I encourage you to do the same.

Do you have friends or family who would find this tip helpful? Please click on the link below, Forward email to a friend!, and send it to them. They're also welcome to sign up for my monthly newsletter as well as the Tip of the Week. Thanks for sharing.

About Me

My photo
I love teaching senior citizens to use computers. I'm a senior myself, so I'm working with my peers. When I work with you in your home on your computer, I don't sit in front of your computer and TELL you want to do. You sit in front of your computer while I TEACH you what to do. I also write step-by-step instructions for you to follow when I'm not there.
