Post Office online

Greetings!
Post Office online
Don't stand in long lines at the Post Office this year

Do you dread standing in long lines at the Post Office to buy stamps, change your address or hold your mail while you're on vacation? So do I, so I use the Post Office website for many of these things. Click here to go to www.USPS.com, the website for the Postal Service.

If you click the Household tab, you will be able to order stamps and have them delivered to you, change your mailing address and have your mail held, as well as many other options.

Other tabs at the top of the page help you find a ZIP code, locate a post office, print a label and calculate postage.

Check it out. Click on several of the tabs so see what's available. Use the green Back button at the top of your screen to return to the previous window. You won't believe how much time you can save, and who actually enjoys standing in lines?

Here's a special savings on both of my books! From now through December 31, 2005, you will receive FREE SHIPPING on your order. Click here to go to my website to place your order. You may order online or if you prefer, print out the order form and mail to me with your check, money order or credit card information. They make great holiday gifts for the computer users on your list. You may also call me at (303) 752-2152 to place your order.

Do you have friends or family who would find this tip helpful? Please click on the link below, Forward email to a friend!, and send it to them. They're also welcome to sign up for my monthly newsletter as well as the Tip of the Week. Thanks for sharing.

About Me

My photo
I love teaching senior citizens to use computers. I'm a senior myself, so I'm working with my peers. When I work with you in your home on your computer, I don't sit in front of your computer and TELL you want to do. You sit in front of your computer while I TEACH you what to do. I also write step-by-step instructions for you to follow when I'm not there.
